About me
Hi, I’m Christine Hassett, LMHC and the founder of Insight Garden Counseling, PLLC.
I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 20 years, supporting individuals through many stages of healing and growth. My experience includes inpatient settings, partial hospitalization programs, and community mental health. For the last 8 years, I have focused solely on outpatient therapy. These diverse roles have shaped the grounded, compassionate, and practical approach I bring to therapy today.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Assumption College (2007) and completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the Beck Institute. I also integrate Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in working with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I believe therapy should be both a safe space for reflection and a supportive place to grow.
The name Insight Garden Counseling reflects my belief that insight is like a seed: with the right care and attention, it can grow into lasting clarity, healing, and change. Therapy is the space where that process begins—gently, intentionally, and with support.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new recipes, reading, and gardening—activities that help me stay grounded and present.
